Introducing our Adult Summer Series
Join us this summer for a range of evening, morning and afternoon adult dance classes at Dance Project starting July 16th!
In addition to our regular Monday morning Ballet, Thursday morning Theater Jazz Dance, and Sunday afternoon Latin classes, we will be offering FOUR new classes weekday evenings!
Each class is considered a drop-in at $15 per class, payable upon arrival in cash or credit.

Alessandra Marconi is a versatile artist, not limited to performance, choreography and creative development. She received a BA in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and spent the following years touring Europe, Asia and the US with iLuminate dance company. She’s been in creation with Andy Blankenbuehler (Bandstand, HAMILTON, Only Gold, CATS and Fosse Verdon) and Jennifer Jancuska (The BringAbout). Performance credits include Crystal Pite’s Polaris, The Demise: a rock opera, ABC TV/Lionsgate’s Dirty Dancing, Warner Brothers’ In The Heights. Alessandra choreographed the Drama League’s Annual Fundraising Benefit honoring Nathan Lane and was the movement director for WESTSIDE, a Netflix original series. Currently, she’s the US Asst. Choreographer for the Broadway Play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Merging her skills and interests, Alessandra has a great passion for bringing people together through social dance. She deepened her knowledge of Hustle with training by pioneers, Alex Kim, Diane K Nardone, Domingo Cruz and John Merisier. In 2016 she created Hustle Social, a mobile event offering classes and parties in local spaces that celebrates New York’s native partner dance. Resident neighborhoods include Clinton Hill, BK (Brooklyn Studios for Dance) & Washington Heights, Manhattan (Dance Project of Washington Heights). Pop Up cities: Seattle, WA, Toronto & Montréal, CA. Kameron N. Saunders (St. Louis, MO) began his dance training at the Center of Creative Arts, or COCA. Kameron is a graduate of the Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a BFA in Dance. He has worked with renowned artists such as Alonzo King, Alicia Graf Mack, Antonio & Kirven Douthit-Boyd, Sally Bliss, George Jones, Kate Skarpetowska, Ron K. Brown, Matthew Rushing, and Judith Jamison.Kameron has choreographed for many universities and companies and has presented several of his works at festivals including PUSHfest in San Francisco, APAP in New York City and the Spring to Dance Festival in St. Louis. He has also choreographed for Tony nominated actor Ken Page for his original play for dance, Sublime Intimacy. Most recently Kameron was one of eight internationally selected choreographers for the Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellowship at Jacob’s Pillow in its inaugural year under the direction of Dianne McIntyre and Risa Steinberg.
Navarra Novy-Williams is a New York City based dance artist. She has danced with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, The Batsheva Ensemble, Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, and Ballet of Difference. Navarra recently performed in Mario Castelucchi’s Democracy in America and collaborated on the original creations: Watch, with the Arias Company; Clear&Sweet and Always Now by zoe|juniper; and Orpheus Unsung by Steven Mackey and directed by Mark DeChiazza. She dances with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet and has worked with Manuel Vignoulle, the Francesca Harper Project, and Mary John Frank.
She has presented her work at the United Palace, the Danza Highbridge Festival, and STUFFED at Judson Church. She is currently working on a VR/360Video site-specific dance project called While You Wait... with video artist and composer Carlos Johns-Dávila.
Navarra teaches Gaga, ballet, and contemporary improvisation across the United States, including at the Juilliard School, NYU, SUNY Purchase, Movement Invention Project, MOVE(NYC), New Dialect, Dance Project of Washington Heights, and Dances For A Variable Population. She graduated from the Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance in 2006 and has a MA in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from the New School.
Evan Fisk is currently a performer with PunchDrunk’s Sleep No More as well as with Brian Brooks Dance Company. He received his BFA in 2017 from The Juilliard School, where he worked with master teachers Risa Steinberg, Milton Meyers, Lawrence Rhodes, Bobbi Jene Smith, Francisco Martinez, Jeff Edwards, Jean Freebury and many others. In his time at Juilliard, he explored his interest in choreography by contributing works to the school’s Choreographic Workshops, as well as The Choreographers and Composers Concert in his third year. Evan also pursued collaborative efforts with composers, working with pianist T.J. Keanu Tario on their video Between the River Styx and with Will Stackpole on their video You Will Be. His recent solo work, Weep, Rinse, Repeat was premiered at Judson Church for their event: Stuffed. On Monday nights, Evan and two of his classmates Angela Falk and Caitlin Javech have created a creative choreographic lab called Uptown Comp Club. He has also served as a master teacher at Appomattox Governor's School, the School of Richmond Ballet and for studios in the tri-state area.
